I Clicked on The Extinct Research Lab,it said Zoo Tycoon 2 Excutable has Stopped Working and shut off my game?

My game is Zoo tycoon 2 complete Collection and I really need help on this problem Every time I click on the extinct research lab it just says "Zoo tycoon 2 Executable has stopped working" and then shuts off my game altogether. I have had the game for 2 years and it works fine normally. My laptop is Windows vista and should have enough space for the game to run smoothly. Please Please Help!
