Help with installing Java on Fedora 14?

I downloaded Java from the Java website, and went into the root to try and make it an executable file, and it says "chmod: cannot access `home/Non-Admin/Downloads/jre-6u25-linux… No such file or directory". Is there some sort of program I can install that will automatically turn the rpm.bin/.bin into an executable file? This is frustrating, but persistance is key.
