Programming question in visual basic.. beginar?

Is there any one who can told me how to make a application program in visual basic? I want to make some of my own executable program like picasa, web browser like mozila etc. what I mens to say that there visual appearance, there one click options etc. I already have visual basic 2010. though if I need any other software plz tell me. & plz don't told about the visual basic forum tutorial. they r not that much good. thank U in advance. if any programmer see this qus, plz plz plz help me.
